Duplicates of contacts and companies very often occur in CRM during the leads generation process.
There may be several reasons for this:
- A client may leave requests repeatedly on the website, which was improperly integrated, so these requests may create duplicates.
- Import of the old client database.
- Managers may manually create new contact or company cards for the same clients.
- Kommo built-in tool for finding duplicates does not always work correctly, especially when it is needed to find duplicates by an additional custom field, such as Tax ID.
Why are duplicates bad?There might be confusion when working with contacts: duplicates take up extra lines, these being limited in the contacts list. It also seizes resources (for example, when mass mailing to all the clients from your database).
To control this manually is almost impossible, so Komanda F5 developed a tool that once and for all solves the problem of duplicates in Kommo. The widget, upon installation, is built into the Kommo interface and allows you to search for duplicates in contacts and companies lists by any field, including additional and custom ones.
